Instructed by Royal London Asset Management, we acted as the Project Manager and Contract Administrator for this complex project encompassing the replacement of the front façade and the installation of new multi faceted roof structure.

Internally the works consisted of a full CAT A refurbishment, including new plant, WC’s, on-floor services and lifts.

The design had to overcome a complex planning process and limited record information, while the site activities had to be carefully planned to account for restricted access, a congested site and working around the retained elements of structure and core.

Early engagement with the contractor was key in assisting with design development and a robust process for undertaking investigations and programme management.
