APS were appointed by Research Now to act as the Employer’s Agent for the fit out of their new 28,000 sq ft London Headquarters. APS were also appointed as the client’s Move Manager.
The project was procured via a JCT Design & Build Contract. Working closely with the consultant services engineers, obtained competitive tenders for the required work and ensured that costs were minimised by incorporating elements of the previous fit out into the design brief.
In addition, we assisted in securing additional money from the Landlord for supplemental air-conditioning, which was necessary as a consequence of the clients occupational demands.
We were also retained by Research Now to deal with their dilapidation obligations at their previous office.
